Day 01 – Arrival in Venice
Meet on arrival at Venice Airport or railway station and transfer by water taxi to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy a leisurely walk through the nearby streets and canals. In the evening you may visit St. Mark’s Square, one of the most famous squares in Europe, surrounded by elegant arcades and historic cafés. Overnight in Venice.
Day 02 – Venice City Tour
After breakfast enjoy a guided walking tour of Venice. Visit St. Mark’s Square, St. Mark’s Basilica with its golden mosaics, and the magnificent Doge’s Palace which once served as the residence of the rulers of the Venetian Republic. Walk across the famous Bridge of Sighs and explore the narrow streets and small canals that give Venice its unique character. Afternoon free for shopping or independent exploration. Overnight in Venice.
Day 03 – Venetian Lagoon Islands
Today you may take an excursion to the beautiful islands of the Venetian Lagoon. Visit Murano, famous for its centuries-old tradition of glass making, and Burano, known for its colorful fishermen’s houses and delicate lace handicrafts. Return to Venice in the afternoon. In the evening enjoy a romantic gondola ride along the Grand Canal and smaller waterways. Overnight in Venice.
Day 04 – Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time for last minute shopping or a final walk along the canals. Transfer to Venice airport or railway station for departure.
